Company History

Airport Towing began as a sole proprietorship in March of 1988. Mark and Lynette Storer purchased their first tow truck and began running calls out of their house. Within six months they located a storage lot in the Burien district of unincorporated King County. The lot was up for lease, so an office trailer was quickly purchased and the property was occupied. The storage lot was added to be eligible to perform services for Washington State Patrol and the King County Sheriff Office. Many updates were needed in order to meet the high standards of the local police agencies. The couple worked diligently to improve the company to exceed state and local standards. As the company expanded, other police and government agency contracts became achievable. Airport Towing has since performed services for the Washington State Patrol, King County Sheriff’s Office, Tukwila Police, Port of Seattle Police, Normandy Park Police, Des Moines Police, Seattle Police Department, WSDOT, and the United States Postal Service.

The company incorporated in 1996 under the name Storer Enterprises, Inc. and has continued to perform the highest quality of service in the industry since inception. The corporation now regularly performs services not only for local police agencies, but also provides private towing and emergency roadside services for the public including accident recoveries, rental car exchanges, vehicle unlocks, jumpstarts, tire changes, car auctions, private impounds, equipment transport, and many other specialty services in King County and throughout the Puget Sound area. As a fully licensed, bonded, and insured corporation, the company has built its reputation on providing high quality services to local residents, commercial accounts, private customers, government agencies, auto clubs, insurance companies, and other entities.

Storer Enterprises Inc. currently employs nineteen industry professionals and operates fourteen towing, transport, and service trucks out of two offices on a daily basis under the names Airport Towing, Burien Towing, SeaTac Towing, and Seahurst Towing.
